Alexandria, La. (November 11, 2025) — The Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of shots fired on Louise Street in Alexandria.
At approximately 5:52 p.m. Tuesday, dispatch received a call about shots fired at a vehicle in the 1300 block of Louise Street. Deputies arrived quickly and contacted the complainant, who said their vehicle had been shot at.
However, no injuries or vehicle damage have been confirmed at this time. Meanwhile, deputies have detained four individuals in connection with the incident. Sheriff’s Detectives and the Crime Scene Unit are responding to collect evidence and interview witnesses.
Earlier, UrbanCast reported live as authorities responded to the scene. One witness described the event as a possible drive-by shooting. Although early reports suggested the scene could be near the city limits, RPSO confirmed jurisdiction.
