The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma, warns that conditions favor severe storm development, with tornadoes possible across multiple parishes in Louisiana.

- Northern Louisiana – La Salle, Vernon, West Feliciana, East Feliciana

Cities at risk include Alexandria, Pineville, Marksville, Jena, and surrounding areas.

- Greater Baton Rouge Area – East Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge, Livingston, Ascension
- Acadiana & Southwest Louisiana – Lafayette, St. Martin, Acadia, Vermilion, Iberia
- New Orleans Metro & Coastal Parishes – Orleans, Jefferson, Plaquemines, St. Bernard
Safety Precautions
If a Tornado Warning is issued, take shelter immediately. Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor. Mobile homes and vehicles provide little protection.
Stay informed through local news, NOAA Weather Radio, and emergency alerts. Officials recommend having a weather-ready emergency kit with flashlights, batteries, and essential supplies.
