Cotton, who was wanted on multiple charges, was initially spotted driving near 3rd Street and Bogan Street.

Deputies, assisted by Alexandria Police Department officers, pursued Cotton, who led them to Masonic Drive and Gilbert Street. When Cotton’s vehicle became disabled, he attempted to escape on foot. Deputies quickly apprehended him without further incident.

RPSO confirmed that Patrick Heath Cotton will be booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center. The charges and his mugshot are expected to be released tomorrow.
