Pineville, LA (10/1/2024) – On September 30, 2024, two separate incidents in Pineville prompted quick action by law enforcement.
First, around 6:30 PM, Pineville Police Department Officers attempted to stop a stolen vehicle identified by the License Plate Recognition system on US 165. The driver refused, leading officers on a high-speed pursuit through downtown Pineville. Eventually, the suspect stopped and was arrested without further incident.
In another case, authorities continue to search for Channing Devon Alexander, wanted for discharging a firearm during an altercation on September 27, 2024. Pineville PD urges anyone with information to contact them immediately. The search for Alexander remains a top priority.
