Prospect, LA – (June 5, 2024) – The Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office has announced a third arrest in connection with the recent burglary at a church in the Prospect community. Alyssa Deer, 28, of Colfax, has been charged with four counts of burglary and four counts of criminal damage to property.
This arrest follows the earlier apprehension of Ricky Wise, Jr., 20, of Colfax, and Trenton Strong, 18, of Pineville, both of whom face identical charges. The arrests stem from an investigation that saw significant community cooperation, ultimately leading to the identification and capture of the suspects.

The burglary, initially reported on May 13, 2024, involved substantial vandalism at the church.
