Boyce, LA (2/5/2024) – The Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office (RPSO) reported a Boyce man was arrested for alleged sexual misconduct of a juveniles.
On January 21, 2024, deputies responded to a report of criminal sexual misconduct involving a juvenile, initiating an investigation led by the RPSO Special Victims Unit (SVU) Detectives.
During their inquiry, SVU Detectives identified Jay Allen Hill, 32, of Boyce, as the suspect. The investigation, which included interviews of the victim(s) conducted through the Rapides Children’s Advocacy Center, established probable cause for the initial complaint and revealed additional allegations. SVU Detectives identified an additional victim during the process.
Two separate warrants were issued for Hill’s arrest, including charges of one count of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, eight counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile, two counts of 2nd-degree sexual battery, and three counts of 1st-degree rape.
On February 2, 2024, Hill was located and taken into custody without incident. He has been booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center and remains in jail at the time of this release, held on a $1,001,500.00 bond.
