Bunkie, LA (10/29/2023) – The Bunkie Police Department (BPD) reported one victim is dead and one was injured in a shooting that occurred on North Knoll Street on Sunday, October 29, 2023.
BPD received a report of a shooting around 8:24 pm, upon BPD Officers’ arrival at the scene in the 300 Block of North Knoll. they found one victim with injuries to his head and a second victim with gunshot wounds to the leg. The victim with leg injuries was able to get away and make it to another home in the 300 Block of North Knoll.
The ages of the victims are 14 and 15.
No arrests were made; however, this is an open investigation.Â
