Natchitoches, La. (10/02/2023) – On October 2, 2023 around 10:34 a.m., officers with the Natchitoches Police Department were dispatched to the Natchitoches Utility Annex in reference to an individual being stabbed.
Upon officers arrival they were able to speak with the victim and several witnesses who were able to identify, 68 year old, black male, Johnny Kelly of Natchitoches as the suspect.
Agents with the Natchitoches Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force and detectives were able to locate Johnny Kelly at a residence on Berry Avenue where he was placed under arrest without incident.
Johnny Kelly is charged with Aggravated Second Degree Battery and Simple Burglary. He was placed in the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center. The victim was transported to the Natchitoches Regional Medical Center where they are listed in stable condition.
