Alexandria: 16-year-old female stabbed on East Sycamore; 16-year-female arrested

Alexandria, LA (7/29/2023) – The Alexandria Police Department (APD) reported a juvenile was stabbed on East Sycamore Street.

On Saturday, July 29, 2023, at approximately 01:30 AM, APD was called to 2236 East Sycamore about a person being stabbed.

Upon Officers’ arrival, a 16-year-old female victim who had suffered minor stab wounds was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

APD Juvenile detective was called out to further the investigation. The identity of a 16-year-old female suspect was learned, which led to her arrest for one count of Aggravated Second Degree Battery.

This is currently an ongoing investigation.
