Goldonna, LA (2/16/2025) – A single-vehicle crash near Goldonna early Sunday morning resulted in minor injuries for a 19-year-old driver from Saline.
At approximately 7:27 AM on February 16, 2025, Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies, Goldonna Police, and EMS responded to a crash on LA Hwy 479. Authorities found a 2018 Ford F-150 off the roadway, with airbags deployed.
Deputies say the driver was traveling southbound when, for unknown reasons, he veered off the left side of the road. The truck continued off-road before striking a tree and coming to a stop.
Emergency responders transported the driver to Natchitoches Regional Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Goldonna Marshal L. Sampey is leading the investigation since the crash occurred within city limits.
The single-vehicle crash near Goldonna remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the cause.
