Alexandria, LA (1/1/2024) – The Alexandria Police Department (APD) reported a person was shot during an attempted robbery, police did not give details on a potential suspect
On Sunday, December 31, 2023, at approximately 8:17 PM, the APD Officers responded to the 2200 block of West Sycamore Street about an attempted armed robbery where the suspect shot the victim.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The condition of the victim is unknown at this time.
