Morning fog should burn off across much of the area by mid-morning. Some patchy fog is expected to linger near the coast and over the nearshore waters through the day.

Otherwise, scattered showers and a few storms are expected to develop as the remnants of Tuesday’s front begin to lift back to the north. A few stronger storms could develop during the afternoon, capable of producing hail or a few strong gusts. Outside of the active weather, temperatures will continue to be on the warm side, with highs climbing into the lower to middle 70s.

Tonight, showers and thunderstorms are likely, mainly before 4 am, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 5 am. Cloudy, with a low of around 61. South wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. The chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and a quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. 

Thursday, showers and possibly a thunderstorm, mainly before noon, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Temperature rises to nearly 67 by 10 am, then falls to around 58 during the day. South wind around 15 mph, becoming northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph. The chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and a quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
