Today, skies will become partly cloudy, with much warmer temperatures expected. Highs will climb to around 70 degrees during the afternoon, with southerly winds increasing to 10 to 15 MPH with gusts near 20 MPH during the afternoon.
Tonight, southerly winds will continue, with temperatures well above normal. Clouds will increase with a few showers and thunderstorms possible after midnight. Overnight lows will be in the upper 50s to lower 60s.
Tomorrow, showers and thunderstorms will become more widespread, especially across southeast Texas into parts of western Louisiana. Storms could produce heavy rainfall. In addition, there is a Marginal Risk for severe weather across interior southeast Texas north of Interstate 10. Isolated damaging wind gusts and/or isolated weak tornadoes will be possible, mainly during the afternoon and evening.
