Vidalia, LA (10/24/2023) – The Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office reported a man traveling to meet a minor in possession of narcotics and a firearm.
Chris Custer, 51, of Hazlehurst, Mississippi, was arrested and charged with one count of indecent behavior with juveniles and narcotics charges from Tensas Parish.
On October 23, 2023, the CPSO Cyber Crime Unit began investigating an adult subject communicating with a minor online. During the conversations, Custer discussed sexual activity and the use of narcotics with the minor.
On the evening of October 23, 2023, Custer made plans to travel and sneak the child away from home. However, Custer was met by CPSO Detectives and taken into custody with the assistance of the Tensas Parish Sheriff’s Office.
At that time, Custer was found to have a firearm, suspected methamphetamine, two types of prescription pills, and hypodermic needles.
