Vernon Parish, LA (1/28/2024) – The Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office (VPSO) was alerted at 9:38 this morning by the Vernon Parish E911 Office regarding a possible drowning in Vernon Lake.
VPSO Deputies, in conjunction with Agents from the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, promptly mobilized to the reported location.
As the situation unfolds, first responders from multiple agencies are actively engaged in an ongoing search for the missing person.
