Alexandria, LA (11/11/2024) – On Sunday afternoon, November 10, first responders in Alexandria, Louisiana, attended an incident involving a vehicle that swerved into a pond on Duhon Lane.
The vehicle veered off the road during the rainstorm on Saturday, November 9th and landed in a grassy, waterlogged area.
Sources at the scene reported that the driver was forced off the road by another vehicle. After the vehicle entered the marsh-like body of water, the driver managed to swim to safety.
Photos from the scene show the vehicle partially submerged, surrounded by dense marshland. Police officers and other responders assessed the situation, while a tow truck successfully retrieved the vehicle from the water.
