Colfax, LA (April 5, 2024) – Law enforcement authorities have confirmed that the body of James M. Ingram, the 68-year-old man reported missing earlier this week, has been located. The somber discovery brings a tragic end to the search efforts that began on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.
The Colfax Police Department and the Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office had issued a joint plea for assistance from the public in locating Mr. Ingram, who was last seen leaving his residence on the night of March 31, 2024. Ingram was driving a 2020 Honda Accord, silver in color, with a handicap license plate numbered 0415034.
While the discovery of Mr. Ingram’s deceased body provides some closure to his loved ones, law enforcement officials have emphasized that the investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death remains ongoing. As such, no further details can be released at this time.
