Update: Escaped RPSO Inmate Devacheay Tray Martin Captured

Alexandria, LA (March 5, 2024) – The Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office (RPSO) SWAT Team executed a search warrant at a residence on Webster Street in Alexandria, LA, this morning, leading to the apprehension of Devacheay Tray Martin, the inmate who escaped from Rapides Parish Detention Center 3 on February 9, 2024.

Martin was taken into custody without incident at approximately 6:30 AM.

Martin, 23, of Pineville, LA, had been held on pre-trial charges for Attempted Second Degree Murder and Parole Violations before his escape. He now faces additional charges, including Simple Escape, Possession of Fentanyl, Possession of CDS 1, and Marijuana Possession, among others. Martin is currently being held on a $576,000.00 bond at the Rapides Parish Detention Center.

During the search for Martin, investigators identified several individuals who allegedly assisted him after his escape, including helping him elude law enforcement. These individuals have been arrested and face charges related to aiding Martin in his escape. They are:

– Dealiyah Skye Robertson, 20, of Alexandria, LA

– Denzel Dupree Williams, 28, of Alexandria, LA

– Tyreke Traveze Taylor, 22, of Alexandria, LA

– Carrie Rykietha Blue, 29, of Alexandria, LA

– Dreama Nytasia King, of Alexandria, LA

– Charlette Williams, 28, of Pineville, LA

– Kavion Goodlow, 25, of Alexandria, LA

– Conisha Marie Zone, 42, of Alexandria, LA

Additionally, one 17-year-old juvenile was cited for Accessory After the Fact and released to their parents.

RPSO extends its gratitude to law enforcement partners, including the Alexandria Police Department, Pineville Police Department, Louisiana State Police Troop E, Louisiana Department of Probation and Parole, and the United States Marshals Service, for their assistance in Martin’s capture.
