Unresponsive Man Found on Wahlder Street in Alexandria, LA

Alexandria, LA (7/5/2024) – At approximately 8:11 AM on Friday, July 5, 2024, the Alexandria Police Department responded to reports of an unresponsive man lying in the 400 block of Wahlder Street.

The man was found deceased and has been identified as 37-year-old John Dorsey from Pineville, LA. No foul play is suspected at this time, and an autopsy and toxicology tests are pending.

UrbanCast/involvedinitall.com was notified of the incident at 9:12 AM and arrived on the scene to find Alexandria Police Department officers and detectives already present. Shortly thereafter, the Rapides Parish Coroner’s Office arrived and removed the remains of Mr. Dorsey.
