Brusly, LA (1/2/2023) – According to 18th Judicial District Attorney Tony Clayton, David Cauthron, the officer involved in the deadly crash, was arrested.
Cauthron is charged with two counts of negligent homicide and one count of negligent injuring.
West Baton Inmate inquiry system indicates that Cauthron was booked on January 1, 2023, at 9:43 pm.

Maggie Dunn, 17, and Caroline Gill, 16, were killed when a police cruiser reportedly crashed into their vehicle. A male in the back seat was injured and transported to a local hospital.
