Two Suspects Charged with First-Degree Murder Under Investigation by RPSO

Pineville, LA (April 7, 2024) – The Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office (RPSO) has confirmed its investigation into two suspects, each facing severe charges including first-degree murder.

Elisha Chenyenne Mazerolle, 27, and Rodney Dale Jr. Guillotte, 38, both residents of Pineville, Louisiana, are the subjects of the ongoing inquiry.

Mazerolle stands accused of one count of first-degree murder. She was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center 1 on April 7, 2024, at 12:46 am. As of now, no bond has been set for Mazerolle.

On the other hand, Guillotte faces a slew of charges, including one count of first-degree murder, contempt of court, attempted first-degree murder, and domestic abuse battery with a child present. He was booked into the same detention center on April 6, 2024, at 1:10 pm. At present, Guillotte’s total bond remains undetermined.

The connection, if any, between the incidents involving Mazerolle and Guillotte has not been established as the investigation unfolds.
