Baton Rouge, La. (10/29/2022) – According to Baton Rouge Police Department (BRPD), the department has responded to two separate shootings in less than 12 hours.
BRPD responded to a shooting on Taft Street near Highland Road, which occurred around 10 pm, Friday, October 28, 2022. The victim was located in another area and was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The department responded to a second shooting that occurred around 9:20am, Saturday, October 29, 2022. This shooting occurred at Choctaw Drive and North 38th Street. One person was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Both shootings shootings are under investigation.
