PINEVILLE, La. (11/23/2024) – A Pineville house fire tragically claimed two lives, according to the Louisiana State Fire Marshal.
Friday evening, the Holiday Village Fire Department responded to a call about a house fire on Janet Drive. Despite efforts from first responders, two individuals were unable to escape the blaze. Their identities have not been released.
The fire drew a significant emergency response, with fire, police, and ambulance units reported on Janet and Circle Drives near LA Highway 28 East. Witnesses noted heavy smoke and traffic congestion in the area, making it challenging to navigate the neighborhood.
