Pineville, LA (9/18/2024) – Pineville Police Department (PPD) has made two arrests following a stabbing on Armstrong Street early Wednesday morning. At approximately 5:30 AM, officers responded to a call in the 200 block of Armstrong Street, where one victim was found critically injured.
The victim was transported to a local hospital by an ambulance company and remains in critical condition.
The stabbing on Armstrong Street led to the arrest of 20-year-old Sigrud Williams of Marrero, Louisiana, who has been charged with Attempted Second Degree Murder. Additionally, 21-year-old Liontraill Williams of Pineville, Louisiana, has been charged with Obstruction of Justice/Evidence Tampering.
At this time, Pineville Police Department has not released any information regarding the motives or circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities are asking the public for any information that may assist in the case.
