Lecompte, LA (8/13/2024) – On August 10, 2024, Rapides Parish Patrol Deputies responded to a report of criminal sexual conduct in Lecompte, Louisiana. The victim, possibly disabled, was quickly evaluated by medical personnel trained in sexual assault cases. The investigation, led by Sheriff’s Detectives, confirmed the initial allegations and two were arrested for 1st Degree Rape.
Detectives, with assistance from the Children’s Advocacy Center, interviewed the victim. The evidence collected identified Clarence Albert Frazier, Jr., 46, of Lecompte, LA, as a suspect. Detectives obtained a search warrant for his residence at 53 Thompson Road, where they found more evidence.
Frazier, Jr., a registered sex offender in compliance, was arrested on August 11, 2024. He faces charges of 1st degree rape, sexual battery, cruelty to the infirm, and criminal conspiracy. He remains in the Rapides Parish Detention Center with a bond set at $550,000.
Further investigation led to the arrest of a second suspect, Amber Johnson, 49, also of Lecompte. Johnson was arrested on August 12, 2024, and faces charges of 1st degree rape, cruelty to the infirm, and criminal conspiracy. She is held in the Rapides Parish Detention Center with a bond set at $275,000.
