Toddler taken by mother during visitation, sheriff says

Hammond, LA (4/30/2023) – The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) is asking the public assistance in locating a 1-year-old child and his mother.

Bradley Livers, Jr., 1, was taken by his mother, 18-year-old Anya Owens, during her supervised visitation with Bradley earlier this week. According to investigators, Anya took Bradley from his father’s residence on Melanie Lane in Hammond between 1 PM and 2 PM on Monday, April 24, 2023.

After attempting to have custody returned for several days, Bradley’s father contacted the sheriff’s office seeking assistance in locating them.

Anya may have taken Bradley to Baton Rouge; however, their exact location is unknown.

Bradley weighs approximately 30 pounds, has brown eyes, and black hair with a low fade and curls on top. He is said to be a medium brown complexion and is around 32 inches tall.

Anya weighs approximately 150 pounds, is 5’7” tall, and has brown eyes, black hair, and a light complexion.

Anya has pending charges for:
(1) count – Protective Order Violation
(1) count – Interference with the custody of a child
