Tioga, LA (12/31/2024) – Tioga Junior High student Kaiden Black showcased his football talent at the Offense-Defense All American Bowl on December 28-29 in Dallas.
The event, hosted at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium, is part of a renowned football program that helps young athletes develop their skills and gain national exposure.
Kaiden, a 12-year-old standout, was the only Louisiana player on his roster and in his age group. He opened the 12U bracket game with a spectacular 75-yard touchdown on the first play. Although a 70-yard touchdown was called back, he persevered and finished the game with three touchdowns and one interception. Despite his team’s narrow 21-20 loss, Kaiden scored all their points.
In the second game, Kaiden’s defensive prowess shone as he returned an interception for a touchdown. His performance led his team to a 12-0 victory, and he was voted MVP.
Coach Travis Racine, head coach for Tioga Junior High and the Red River Youth Football League, praised Kaiden’s versatility. “Kaiden is a great athlete. You can put him in any position on the football field and he will shine. His dad has done an amazing job coaching him up through the years, and it shows. I expect him to continue to do great things in his football future,” Racine said.
Kaiden dreams of playing in the NFL and plans to major in sports medicine at a four-year university. His achievements at the Offense-Defense All American Bowl highlight his bright future and reflect his hard work and dedication.
Tioga Junior High student Kaiden Black’s accomplishments inspire his peers and represent the City and State on a national stage.
