Alexandria, LA (5/14/2023) – In less than 24 hours, at least two people died in three separate incidents in Alexandria, Louisiana. The Alexandria Police Department has not released any information.
Locust Street
Early on Saturday, May 13, 2023, multiple sources said a body of a white male was found on Locust Street, just off of Dallas, near the Broadway overpass. Alexandria Police Department, Acadian Ambulance Service, and Rapides Fire District were seen on the scene.
Chester/Levin
At around 9:30 pm, May 13, 2023, Alexandria Police Department was seen at Chester and Levin Street regarding a man being shot. Sources said a man was transported to a hospital in “bad” condition. The victim’s condition is unknown.
At around 11:45 pm, May 13, 2023, Alexandria Police Department responded to a shooting in Acadian Village in the area of East Sandy Bayou and Avoyelles Drive. According to sources, a young man passed away at the scene.
