Three Arrested in Pineville Shooting Investigation, Bonds Set at $2.5M and $4M

Pineville, La. (12/12/2025) – Pineville shooting arrests highlight a violent chain of events that unfolded across Alexandria and Pineville in early December 2025.

The Pineville Police Department confirmed three arrests following a shooting reported around 3:00 a.m. on December 7, 2025. Officers responded quickly and contacted the Criminal Investigations Bureau, which assumed control of the investigation.

Investigators determined the violence stemmed from an earlier altercation involving juveniles at an Alexandria Senior High School football game. Later, the same individuals encountered each other again at the Winter Fête event in Alexandria on December 6.

Additionally, a source who attended Winter Fête told UrbanCast there were violent incidents during the event. However, the Alexandria Police Department has not released any reports confirming disturbances or related enforcement actions.

Conflict Escalated

Afterward, the conflict escalated as the group crossed the bridge into Pineville. During that encounter, someone fired a single shot that went unreported.

Hours later, detectives say the suspects fired multiple shots at a residence where juveniles were believed to be present. Fortunately, no one was injured.

On December 9, investigators located a suspect vehicle connected to the incidents and conducted a traffic stop. During the stop, officers recovered evidence linking the occupants to the shootings and additional criminal activity.

As a result, Pineville shooting arrests were made involving three 18-year-old suspects.

Arrested

Police arrested Yavier Joffrion on five counts of attempted first degree murder and three counts of attempted second degree murder. Authorities are holding him on a $4 million bond.

Officers arrested Exavion Philson on five counts of attempted first degree murder, two counts of felony criminal conspiracy, and five counts of simple burglary of a motor vehicle. He is being booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center 1.

Police also arrested Davyion Hampton on five counts of attempted first degree murder and felony criminal conspiracy. He is being held at RPDC1 on a $2.5 million bond.

The Pineville Police Department emphasized that gun violence carries life-altering consequences, especially for young people. Officials say the investigation remains ongoing, and they will release no further details at this time.

All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
