Alexandria, LA (1/24/2023) – Big salute to the Bolton Feeder system students and parents who showed up last night. Mitchell discussed several topics about life, but one that stood out was his growing up in an impoverished neighborhood and realizing that sports or entertainment was his path out.
Malcolm became a successful athlete but realized in college he couldn’t read on a level to really be successful. Once he focused on becoming a better reader, the world and its abundance of opportunities opened for him.
On Wednesday, there is one more stop on the “Reading Revival Tour,” Forest Hill. Peabody Feeder System is canceled due to weather.
Reading equates to success! Let’s make sure we value the importance of reading!
