Shreveport, LA (2/21/2023) – A Marshall, Texas teen shot and mortally wounded near the Clyde Fant Memorial Parkway Saturday, February 18, 2023, has been named by the Caddo Parish Coroner’s office.
Kip Lewis, 17, died at 6:17 p.m. at Ochsner LSU Health hospital, where he had been taken following the 5:45 p.m. incident around the 2200 block of Clyde Fant Parkway service road.
The shooting, the 11th homicide in Shreveport/Caddo Parish to date this year, remains under investigation by the Shreveport Police Department. Media seeking more information on the shooting should contact that agency.
An autopsy was ordered.
