Alexandria, LA (5/12/2023) – According to the Rapides Parish Inmate Inquiry System, a Houston man was arrested for firearms-related charges by Alexandria PD.
Jeremyah Smith, 19, of Houston, Texas, was arrested on Friday, May 12, 2023, and booked into Rapides Parish Detention Center 1.
Smith was charged with one count of obstruction justice – evidence tampering, one count of resisting an officer, and Firearm: possession or dealing unregistered/illegal weapons. The bond was set at $300,500.00.
A booking photo was not released, per Louisiana Act 494.
