Ferriday, LA (April 17, 2024) – The CPSO Cyber Crime Unit initiated an investigation on April 9th, into a case involving a subject unlawfully gaining access to a former dating partner’s online accounts.
The investigation revealed alarming details, including incidents of domestic violence and stalking against the victim.
Error, no group ID set! Check your syntax!The suspect, identified as Al7exander Eugene Morris, 25, of Cuero, TX, was apprehended following the execution of a search warrant at a residence in Ferriday.
During the search, law enforcement seized Morris’s personal electronic devices, which were subsequently subjected to forensic analysis. Shockingly, detectives discovered files containing pornography involving juveniles stored on Morris’s devices, alongside evidence linking him to the victim’s online accounts.
Further investigation unveiled Morris’s troubling history, including previous arrests in Texas for Domestic Abuse by Impeding Breathing in 2021 and Online Solicitation of a Minor in 2023.
Morris now faces multiple charges, including Pornography Involving Juveniles, Stalking, Felony Battery of a Dating Partner by Strangulation, Identity Theft, and Possession of Schedule II CDS, specifically Methamphetamine.
