Tangipahoa Parish, LA (1/12/2023) – The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) reports detectives have identified the suspect of January 7, 2023, armed robbery at the old Happywoods Market and Deli on the corner of Happywoods Road and Old Baton Rouge Highway.
TPSO official says the suspect has been positively identified as Robert Rheams, the deceased suspect from a home invasion on Klein Road, which took place approximately eight hours following the armed robbery.
Detectives constructed a time frame of Rheams’ criminal activity, which started around 8:00 PM with the armed robbery. Several hours later, Rheams commits the carjacking, followed by the home invasion where he was shot and killed by the homeowner shortly after 5:00 AM.
