MEMPHIS, TN – On September 7, 2022, at 12:56 am, officers responded to a shooting in the 3100 Block of Lyndale Avenue. Officers located a male victim, Dewayne Tunstall, 24 years old, in the driveway. He was pronounced deceased on the scene. The suspect was known only as Zeek Huncho.
900 block of South Parkway East

At 4:38 pm, officers responded to a shooting in the 900 Block of South Parkway East. Officers located a male victim, Richard Clark, 62 years old, in his vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased on the scene. Video surveillance at the business revealed a black male pulled up next to the victim in a grey sedan. The suspect fired multiple shots and fled south on College Street.
Norris Road and Interstate 240

At 4:40 pm, officers responded to a shooting at Norris Road and Interstate 240. Officers located a female victim, 44, with a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was transported to the hospital non-critical. The suspect fled in a dark-colored sedan eastbound on Norris Road.
4000 Block of Jackson Avenue

At 5:59 pm, officers responded to a shooting in the 4000 Block of Jackson Avenue. Officers located a male, 63, with a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition. While officers were on the scene, dispatch received multiple calls, and we received numerous tips on social media that the shooter live-streamed on the profile Zeek Huncho as he opened fire inside the business. Investigators connected the account to the early morning shooting on Lyndale and identified the account as belonging to 19-year-old Ezekiel Kelly.
Poplar Avenue and North Auburndale Street

At 7:23 pm, officers responded to a shooting at Poplar Avenue and North Auburndale Street. The suspect occupying the Infiniti sedan was involved in an accident with another vehicle. He got out of the sedan and attempted to approach several cars. He fired multiple shots at multiple vehicles, striking a female in a gray SUV. She and her daughter exited the car. Officers were also advised that a male victim had pulled over to Poplar Avenue and Mclean Street. The male had been shot in the arm when the suspect was approaching his vehicle before taking the SUV. The suspect fled the scene in the grey SUV. The female, Allison Parker, 38 years old, was pronounced deceased on the scene, and the male, 52, was transported to the hospital non-critical.
Southaven, MS
At 8:56 pm, Southaven Police Department responded to the area of Stateline Road and Highway 51 regarding a carjacking. The suspect carjacked the victim at gunpoint and took a Grey Dodge Challenger, leaving behind a Grey Toyota Highlander. The victim was uninjured at this scene.
At approximately 9:15 pm, Officers located Ezekiel Kelly, and he was taken into custody without incident at Hodge Road and Ivan Road by the Memphis Police Department and the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.
Ezekiel Kelly, 19, has been charged with one count of First Degree Murder for the death of Dewayne Tunstall. The charges in the other cases are still pending.
