Alexandria, LA (2/14/2023) – Cenla City Stars kicked off its winter basketball program on Saturday 11th, at Peabody Magnet High School’s Gym. Cheerleaders led renditions of all the favorite go-to cheers at school-starting events.
The Cenla City Stars Basketball Program has over 170 kids enrolled and over 20 volunteers making the program run as smoothly as possible!
The fall football program had 13 teams with over 250 kids, teams from primarily Alexandria and Pineville, but Leesville and Natchitoches participated as well. The Cenla City Stars organization has done a fantastic thing for the community.
They need all our help and all our support. We want what’s best for our kids and our community. We can’t wait on “talking politicians”. We have to stand with those with act right and actions such as this.
