This morning, a cold front is moving through the region, accompanied by showers and thunderstorms. Storms will decrease from west to east during the afternoon, with winds becoming northerly at 5 to 10 MPH. Temperatures will be mild following the front, with highs in the middle 60s.
Tonight, cooler post-frontal temperatures will be in the 40s inland with 50s along the immediate coast. Some clearing will be expected; however, this will not last long, with another shortwave moving toward the area.
Temperatures will struggle to get into the 60s under mostly cloudy skies. Winds will be light and easterly to northeasterly at 2-7 MPH.
