Alexandria, LA (9/7/2023) – State Superintendent Dr. Cade Brumley plans to deliver a Civics lesson in honor of Freedom Week on Tuesday, Sept. 19. Dr. Brumley will lead a class and will be joined by local elected officials: Representative Mike Johnson, Senator Louie Bernard, and Judge Greg Beard.
Freedom Week, a week celebrated across the state of Louisiana, is a time when students learn more about the United States Constitution and how our country’s founding fathers paved the way for our freedoms today.
