St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office Seeks Justin Michael Miller for Attempted Murder and Child Endangerment

St. Landry Parish, LA (6/2/2025) – The St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for Justin Michael Miller, a 27-year-old male wanted in connection with a series of violent and drug-related crimes.

Authorities have issued multiple warrants, including one for attempted first-degree murder.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Miller is facing the following charges under an active arrest warrant:

  • Attempted First Degree Murder
  • Child Endangerment (4 counts)
  • Aggravated Flight from an Officer
  • Failure to Render Aid
  • Resisting a Police Officer with Force or Violence

In addition, a bench warrant has been issued for Miller’s failure to appear for jury selection on April 13, 2023, tied to a previous case involving:

  • Possession of Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substances
  • Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule V CDS
  • Illegal Carrying of a Weapon in the Presence of CDS
  • Transactions Involving Proceeds from Drug Offenses

Miller’s last known addresses include the 1600 block of Parkview Drive, the 3200 block of Highway 103, and the 3200 block of Prairie Ronde Highway, all in Opelousas, Louisiana. He is described as a Black male with black hair and brown eyes, standing 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing approximately 145 pounds.
