Six people were injured in two separate shootings in New Orleans overnight, police say

New Orleans, La. (11/27/2022) – According to the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD), an 18-year-old was shot multiple times in the first incident, and five people were injured in the second.

NOPD said the first shooting occurred at 8:42 pm, Saturday, November 26, 2022, in the 700 Block of Canal Street. An 18-year-old victim was shot multiple times. The victim was transported to a local hospital; his condition is unknown.

A second shooting incident occurred at 1:49 am, Sunday, November 27, 2022, in the 200 Block of Bourbon Street. Five people were shot, injured, and transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. There were two female and three male victims.
