Six Feet Above Festival returns to Pineville Riverfront for Mental Health Awareness Month

Pineville, La. (4/13/2026) – Central Louisiana will once again come together to focus on mental health, connection, and community.

The 4th Annual Six Feet Above Mental Health & Wellness Festival is set for May 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Pineville Riverfront. The event is held during Mental Health Awareness Month and is open to the public at no cost.

To start the day, organizers will host a free community yoga session from 8:00 to 8:45 a.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own mats.

The festival will then shift into a full schedule of activities designed for all ages. More than 20 mental health and wellness organizations from across the state will be on site. These resources aim to provide support, education, and access to services.

In addition, the event will feature local vendors, food trucks, and free activities throughout the morning. Guests can take part in mindfulness crafts, enjoy chair massages, and join in yard games. Raffles and door prizes will also be available.

Organizers say the festival was created to break the stigma surrounding mental health. At the same time, it aims to promote hope and provide a safe space for healing and conversation.

Whether attending for resources or simply to connect, the event offers an opportunity for the community to come together in a positive setting.
