Shreveport, LA (3/19/2023) – The Shreveport Police Department (SPD) reported a man was shot and killed on West 59th near Linwood Avenue.
On Sunday, March 19, 2023, at 3:42 am, SPD and Shreveport Fire Department (SFD) responded to the 1500 block of W. 59th Street about a shooting.
Upon arrival, SPD located a male inside of a home suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his body. That male victim was immediately transported to Oschner LSU Hospital by SFD Medic to be treated for life-threatening injuries.
SPD later reported the victim had succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
