Shreveport, LA (3/17/2023) – According to the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office (CPSO), Detectives arrested a Shreveport man for possession and distributing hundreds of pornographic images and videos involving juveniles and pornographic images involving animals.
After an investigation that began in November 2022, Deputies arrested Wayne Parks, 48, of the 5400 block of Tal Drive in Shreveport on March 15, 2023, for distributing child pornography after obtaining and executing a search warrant for his home on March 1, detectives removed several electronic devices from Park’s home. During a digital examination of his devices, he found over 800 images and videos depicting child sexual abuse of prepubescent children and pornography involving animals.
Parks was arrested and charged with 764 counts of Possession of Pornography Involving Juveniles and 82 counts of Possession of Sexual Abuse of an Animal. He is booked in the Caddo Correctional Center, and he is currently being held without bond. More charges are pending as this is an ongoing investigation.
