Shreveport, LA (3/8/2023) – A woman shot and killed in southwest Shreveport late Sunday, March 5, 2023, has been named by the Caddo Parish Coroner’s office.
Tyniece Haley, 18, of Shreveport, was shot and killed following an altercation outside a skating rink in the 5100 block of West Bert Kouns Industrial Loop just after 8 p.m.
Her identity was established through fingerprint comparison.
The shooting remains under investigation by the Shreveport Police Department, to which media should direct further inquiries.
The slaying marks the 16th homicide in Shreveport and Caddo Parish in 2023.
An autopsy was ordered.
