Shreveport, LA (6/24/2024) – In the early hours of Monday, June 24, 2024, at approximately 1:30 am, the Shreveport Police Department (SPD) responded to reports of a shooting in the 2000 block of Marshall Street.
Upon arrival, officers discovered two victims: an adult female with a gunshot wound to the leg and an adult male with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Both victims were immediately transported to a local hospital where they are currently being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
While processing the scene, SPD received notification from a Shreveport area hospital of a third gunshot victim. The third victim, an adult male with a leg wound, had arrived at the emergency room via private vehicle. SPD dispatched units to the hospital to gather additional information.
The suspect’s vehicle has been identified as a Black Dodge Charger. According to an anonymous source, the vehicle is believed to be one recently stolen from a local auction yard.
