Alexandria, LA (5/26/24) — On Sunday, May 26, 2024, at approximately 6:55 AM, the Alexandria Police Department (APD) responded to a shooting in the 600 block of Fred Loop. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Residents reported seeing over 15 police units and other first responders at the scene.
APD has stated that the investigation is ongoing. They are requesting any information from the public that may assist in the investigation.
