Washington, DC (4/22/2023) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) reported that multiple people were shot in D.C. on Friday, April 21, 2023.
MPD around said MPD officer responded to the 500 block of Lebaum St. SE for a shooting around 11 pm.
MPD said at least seven people were shot, including a 12-year-old child. The conditions of the victims are not known. Officers said seven people were shot at two locations Lebaum Street SE and 2nd Street SE. MPD confirmed that both sites were related.
According to MPD, victims were transported to the hospital by private and public transportation.
