Alexandria, LA (11/12/2023) – The Alexandria Police Department (APD) reported a second person was arrested in connection with the Kelly Street Mass Shooting.
On Thursday, November 9, 2023, at approximately 3:00 PM, the Alexandria Police Department arrested 42-year-old Ladarius Taylor in connection with the October 20, 2023 shooting on Kelly Street.
Taylor was charged with four counts of Attempted Second Degree Murder and booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center.
Taylor’s bond is set at $1,600,000.

First Arrest
On Thursday, November 2, 2023, at approximately 3:00 PM, the Alexandria Police Department arrested 26-year-old Ladarius Hicks in connection with the October 20, 2023 shooting on Kelly Street. Hicks was charged with four counts of Attempted Second Degree Murder and booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center.
Hicks bond is set at $1,603,000.
