Lecompte, LA (5/25/2024) — The search for the missing fisherman at Bayou Boeuf continues this morning, Saturday, May 25, 2024. Despite extensive efforts, the fisherman has not yet been found, according to family members and officials on the scene.
In an effort to enhance the search, additional assets are being brought in from the Shreveport area.
The search area has now been extended southeast of the original focus location as crews intensify their efforts.
