Sabine Parish, LA (8/25/2024) – Sabine Parish Sheriff Aaron Mitchell announced that the Sheriff’s Office will host a Church Security Training Course next month.
This course aims to enhance church safety by equipping security leaders with essential skills and knowledge.
Scheduled for Thursday, September 26, 2024, the course begins at 1:00 PM at Siloam Baptist Church in Many, LA. Security leaders from all Sabine Parish churches are invited, with attendance limited to each church’s top two security leaders.
The training covers the A.L.I.C.E. model, emphasizing proactive strategies for potential security threats. The Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Group will also provide additional insights and support during the course.
